Do you have a favorite saying or quote?  Buy a brass plate to size and have it engraved.
I tried not believing.  That did not work, so now I just believe

Took 28 years for me to notice one of the door jambs has a hinge recess on the latch side up top. Not even patched.

Put in a patch it won't be that noticeable. The door is open or shut and its on the edge.
