Milwaukee has some great routers, and their plunge mechanism is the best I've used.  The 5625 is a beat, but the more affordable 5616 should have plenty of oomph too.

The DeWalt 621 is the only router that I have used with the FMT.  It has worked very well.  I have other routers, but never saw a need to try another.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. I ordered the Dewalt 621...and strangely enough, Amazon shows I purchased this same router in Dec, 2003. I must have returned it for some reason that I cant recall cause it was never part of the arsenal and I used a Bosch on the FMT.
