Project for kids reccomendation

All great ideas.  Some are a bit complicated for a first project but I am going to add them to the list of project they can make once they get the basics.

i like the charging station idea a lot same for the speaker amplifier. 

Currently we are working on basic step stools so they can learn to measure, mark, cut with the miter saw and bandsaw, sand and finish.  We will develop more skill from there like glueing up a panel, routing an edge profile, using a drill press and others.
