Good luck with you adjustments.  I think you will experience using this Sliding Table Saw to be more safer than your old Table Saw. Mine had an older style Blade Guard which was orange and cheaply make. I sent drawings to Shark Guard and Len made me a new much better Blade guard.

I also replaced my fence with one of these, it is very rigid and made my own rails.
Very super cools tools indeed.
