I see that the Cedar Rapids, IA tourist flier has Handworks listed. According to the flier the venue is the same but the dates are May 15th & 16th which is Sunday and Monday
. Since I haven't heard squat about this year's event from my usual sources, I thought that I would see what you'all know.

Handworks occurred in 2013 and 2015. While I haven't heard anything further, I seriously doubt there will be one this year. It seemed to be a great success, so I would guess it will happen again in 2017. The main organizer is Jameel from Benchcrafted.
Again, there has been zero publicity for Handworks in 2016, so I would not put much stock in one this year.

I agree Joe. The event would be just six weeks from now and there has been no indication of it for this year or any future date, for that matter.

That was the date of last years show. They might not have updated their website.

Perhaps its still 2015 in Cedar Rapids, Ia?
(I can say that because I'm from an even smaller town in Iowa, and I'm probably a decade behind, at least.)

The Studley exhibit was in Cedar Rapids last year. Sounds like they didn't fully update their calendar.

Official website is :
http://handworks.co/Still lists 2015 date. And some of the copy on the cedar-rapids tourism web site is from the official website. Handworks is done in odd numbered years.

Rob, did you notice the search terms that I entered in that web page? It was for July 4th, 2016, under "family events". No results.
