Have you done a test run on your floor heat yet?

It worked good but I had so many drafts everywhere it was always running. Floor temps checked out awesome though. Every month or so I run the system just to move the fluid around the lines. I also cleaned out the strainer filter even though there was hardly anything in it and made sure pressure was correct. Soon I will be running it again. Already though in the chilly mornings there is about a 25-30 degree temp difference even with nothing running. Its great to work out there in the evenings after the sun goes down. This place is more comfortable than my house with no heat on.

 Something that continually amazes me is the amount of heat my lights and machinery produce. In the winter I only ever turn on the heat if the temperature drops into the single digits. In the summer my AC battles my lights and machinery. I do have a lot of lights though.

Above door emergency lighting is in and working. Lights turn on if power is lost to that circuit. Also a few more panels are hung. Five more sections on that south wall to finish it. The south wall butts up to the west wall, so that first west section also has to be complete, and it has a set of two way light switches as well.

I remember reading about the radiant heat but don't recall how you generate the heat.  So I have to ask with the amount of roof you have would solar work for heat?  I am guessing whatever is in the floor isn't water but I imagine hot water could be used transfer heat to the plumbing in the floor

The solution is a 50/50 mix of distilled water and polypropylene glycol cryotek 100. I have a 23kw electric instant hot water heater creating the heat. There are prob lots of ways to generate heat.

I was thinking fairly close to free with solar.  See lots of people here using 4" ABS set in loops to heat pools and a few radiant heat set ups

Have 5 panels left on the south 64 wall, only one with an outlet, and I started the west wall as the south wall butts up to it. The work on the west wall took care of the second set of light switches too so that jumble is out of the way. Making progress.

Nice to see its coming along.  While I'm sure it was engineered properly and doesn't need it, those wall panels are going to add a lot of support for the structure, very stout building.  Over-engineering, the it's the american way!
