110v Wiring help needed
#23
Update.

I was fixated on taking power from the receptacle circuit in the unused room next door. After listening to all your advice and talking with a very knowledgeable elec. guy at Lowes I decided to dig further. Turns out there is a common wall directly under the heater  so I can run a dedicated #12 cable back to the panel with a GFI breaker. Should have looked closer to start with but we'll be good to go tomorrow.

Thanks guys,  g
I've only had one...in dog beers.

Kudos to the electrical guy at Lowes.

There is one good electrical guy I know
at our local Home Depot. He helped me from the main breaker panel of the house
all the way to final installation of switches and receptacles in the wood shop and
patio. Took me awhile, but it got done right ( to code ) the first time.
