In case anyone is wondering why this got bumped, it's because I stirred up Jack who suggested I stir up Cletus. I'm going to try build one out of my useless Delta 23-700 wet wheel grinder
Thanks,  Curt

did this get bumped through magic or something?

In case anyone is wondering why this thread resurrected, it's because I pinged Jack who suggested I ping Cletus who then did the deed and here we are. I'm going to take a whack at converting a worthless Delta 20-700 wet grinding wheel (with lumpy wheel) to something like this. I have no mechanical talent and will need all the help I can get.
Thanks,  Curt

Here is the parts diagram for the 23-700... I guess if you're committed to sacrificing it, I'd start tearing it down. I'd leave the motor mounted to the switch for now anyway. We can figure out how to mount a drive wheel to the motor drive shaft.
