I've got this Master Mechanic back saw that I bought twenty-something years ago. Yeah, it sucked! ![](/ssl_proxy.php?url=/ssl_proxy.php?url=/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif)

It was also the first saw that I reshaped teeth and sharpened a few years back, and it actually cuts quite well. The problem, which I'm sure you can see, is the handle is very uncomfortable.
A search for saw handle templates brings up lots of stuff...what would be appropriate for this saw? It's got a 14" plate, and about 3 1/2" depth of cut.
Thanks!
David

Dave Arbuckle was kind enough to create a Sketchup model of my WorkMate benchtop: http://www.arbolloco.com/sketchup/MauleSkinnerBenchtop.skp
