that is GORGEOUS - I love the shape and the choice of grain/wood..the handles.. the taper on the feet... you knocked it out of the park
Please do post pics once it is in place- (and again in 10 years when it turns that deep cherry color... it'll be even nicer then)

It looks good. Sometimes you have to stretch yourself to see what you can do.

I'd say those weekends were well spent. Very nice.

Six months well spent, really turned out nice.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

Looks good to me. I like the knots on the door and top. I like to leave more of that in that most as it makes the piece look like real wood not like the sticker wood with no character.
My project today is to get half the doors and fronts for the kitchen clear coated. Wasn't able to get all the cherry the same color but that's fine with me. Finish will be a bit glossy but very durable which is good in a kitchen. Ended up doing blo then automotive urethane clear.

I think you did a great job. Nice design, choice of wood, and especially execution. Weekends well spent in my opinion!
Please post some more pic's when you have it complete.
