10 year smoke detectors

I am looking for 10 year smoke detectors with wireless interconnect, an preferably location announcement.  I have searched Amazon.  I can find the 10 year battery smoke detectors, and I can find battery powered smoke detectors with wireless interconnect.  However, I cannot find the 10 year version.  Does such an item exist?

No need as it'll llet you know the battery needs replacing at 2 am one morning.

if it wakes me up at two, no deal.  I wake up at 3 am almost every night for a trip to the john, so that would be ok

If you are going to open it up periodically to check the battery, why not just get a regular battery and replace it?

I put 10 year detectors on a 14' vaulted ceiling because I don't want to mess with them...

Smoke detectors should be tested monthly, not necessarily pull the battery, but do a test.  The house I just moved out of had wired, interconnected smoke detectors.  One was just off the kitchen.  Another one was just inside the door, past the outside gas grill.  While I did not have a set schedule, they got "tested" often enough.  In my new house, I don't have that issue.  There are 4 floors (basement, 2 floors and finished attic), plus an attached garage.  I will need to intentionally push the test button from time to time.  Perhaps not the suggested monthly schedule, but at least when the time changes.  All of the ceilings are 8 foot, so I can carry a short dowel rod to test.

OK...Testing makes sense. I throwing you meant actually remove and check the battery. I can test our high ones with a pole as well...
