The nut pattern does look D-16 ish. Does it have a wheat pattern? Maybe this saw CAN be saved.

Went and checked...have a D-16 style handle in both carved and plain styles Have no plates that will work with them, good ones, anyway. Even have a few bolts in brass and steel...medallions are stamped as Warranted Superior....there is an AAA Atkins medallion in the pile, as well.

Actually they be a No. 16 handle. or...No. 76 handle
I did find the skew back plate for the Atkins saw....8ppi skew. I guess NOW I'll have to rehab that one, next...
The No. 16 and/or the No. 76 handles are orphans....

This may be the "elder" of the two..

However, this one does have the carving....The #2 holes do not line up between the two handles.
