My daughter is an artist and a professor of studio art at a college in DC. I have slowly been collecting the gear she needs to make her own frames. A week and a half ago, I found a Millers Falls Langdon 74C miter box on Craigslist for $75. I drove to North Carolina and bought it. It is missing the rear depth gauge and associated attachment hardware (knurled thumb screw and curved washer) and the end-stop gauge bars, but otherwise, it is in pretty good mechanical condition. I've spent the last few days rehabbing it, starting with the saw. I finished the box last night and here are the beauty shots:
