The ones I mention have water and heat resistance. Now I haven’t tested leaving water on it for hours but spill and wipe shortly after has no effect on the wood. I could test a piece. Leave a small puddle on a sample piece over night and see. Might do that and report back

The stuff is expensive and they don't seem to list a coverage (square foot) for the finish.
I have a large livingroom and dining room that I will re-finish. I was waiting until the spring so I could ventilate the room, but this stuff seems not to require much.
My dog wore through the (what I believe) is the original finish on the white oak floors. So I think this is the first re-finish on these floors.
Cost will be a consideration.

they do list coverage - just have to dig in the spec sheet.
For example - the Oil Plus 2C - they list coverage as +/- 500 sq ft per liter for the clear and +/- 350 sq ft per liter for the Color Oils

It is pricey - but so is Waterlox, my usual go to finish, and with the time savings and ease of repairability I find the cost a good value. It's not a replace all finish - its Matte only and has limitations on what I would use it on. They definitely push it hard in this country as a flooring finish but it has a big following in Europe for furniture. I have to buy from a flooring company locally because no one else carries it. If anyone is interested in more - as I told Father Peter, follow CanadianWoodworks on Instagram - also Rubio Monocoat on Instagram. Lots of examples and videos of its application etc. My two cents
