I got some "Dragon Ply" from Paxton a couple of years ago for a project. They raved over it. I was less impressed.
The face veneers were very thin and every time I touched a cut edge, I got these microscopic splinters. I had to wait for 1/4" stock to come in, and when I got it, it had such curves in it, I had a hard time ripping it to size. I was not impressed. In the end, it came out OK, but I did not like having to work with it.
More recently, I got a few pre-finished sheets of 3/4" Dragon Ply and was more impressed with it. It saved a ton of time on a volunteer project (interior case on some built-in 7' tall cabinets.)
I've much better luck with Columbia products, if I can find it at a big box, or get it delivered from Frank Miller.
