That cedar is very vibrant. I'm guessing it will start to mellow out to a brown over time. Never used it myself.

Insides were given a finish..this time around....building more for looks than the Cedar smell..
and, since the outsides had been hand sanded to 320 grit...gave that a second coat..

A view of the top....may look around for some smaller locking rings..
As these were the smallest Lowes had
later, I'll get some 0000 steel wool, and rub the box down...almost done...

Steel wool has been bought....will be giving this box a good rub down....and try to get some better photos when done....
Then I'm headed off to rehab a few block planes.....maybe even go on a Rust Hunt?
Not much left in the scraps bin.....may have to lay in a new wood supply?
