I found a video on the internet which shows an interesting way to set up the TS to cut both an angle and taper. The video is an hour long, so skip to 55:06 to see the saw setup for making a multi sided, tapered box.

TS is centerpiece of a shop for that type of ability. You tube is rapidly becoming the school to teach you how best to use it.

Brilliant! I also like that he keeps his safety devices intact and uses push sticks, etc.
