This one is a rare find...It has a patent date of 1886 cast into it..It is unusual in the way the file is secured...It is adjustable to accomodate various sizes and thicknesses of files and rasps, including the "rat-tail" tang that some have..And instead of a single screw that impinges on the tang, it has a "tongue" that grips the entire flat surface and the tongue has a groove cast into it that facilitates gripping a round tang like on a chainsaw file...No manufacturer's name on it...I have had many of the ordinary "bird-cage" cast Iron handles but in all my years I have never seen another one like this one... Your's for $20.00 plus flat rate shipping.to the first woodnetter that can expedite payment for a fast transaction..Paypal only, USA sale only...Thanks for looking...
Well I guess I am going to have to fire Photobucket...too bad but it was quickly going downhill anyway.......
