I'm still trying to figure out posting pics. I'm trying another thing I saw the other day.

These are Christmas presents I made for our kids.

Yes. They have glass inserts so they can be used for cut flowers. I don't know how to permanently protect segmented wood from direct water contact so I cheated.

The inserts are a buck and a half at Hobby Lobby.

No. The foot is big enough to keep it upright with very little danger of tipping over.
