I stopped using the carnuba wax that came with my Beall system some time ago.
If you get water on a carnuba wax finish you will get white a spots.
For some items you may not have a concern about the item being in proximity of water. For treenware I prefer not to use it.

Well that's interesting. So, do you do a "last step" in the Beall system? In other words, do you put some other wax on your project and just use the fine wheel for polishing it?

I suppose it depends on this and depends on that.

Yah I told him for things like art work to do it that way but things to be used I use shellac and then wipe on poly which holds up to washing and everything.

I had the same thing happen 4 years ago and did it again just to see if that was the problem for sure.
