So, you have those hooks that allow you to hang things anywhere on the slat wall. How are you going to reach the stuff way up there at the top?

No not painting them again.

I am hand making these panels. They are not pre made. There is no metal clips. The cleats are hand made as well.

I bought 1600 sheets of 32"x48"x3/4" marine grade plywood.

I make 4 sets of cuts:
First are slats
1. 5 7/8 at 90° blade 3/4" tall
2. 5 5/16 at 45° blade 1.5" tall
That yields the slats and an extra strip for a cleat
3. 2 1/8 at 90° blade at 3/4" tall
4. 1 9/16 at 45° blade at 1.5" tall

Slatw get a cnc routed hole for outlet if needed

I layout slats on the solid sheet and where an outlet is needed i trace the cnc hole and plunge through with a 3" rockwel saw and finish the hole with jigsaw. Side not i just got some doublesided jigsaw blades to make that faster.

I tack in place with 23ga pins
I route countersink holes with 90 degree v bit. I use a 611 at my station and a cordless 18v makita router.
I sink the 1.25 screws and start the 2.5" screws.

I take to wall and with install off my bench or off lift and my roller table.

Outlets get mounted from the back with #12 coarse thread screws. The boxes are all adjusable style.

Then I sink the 2.5 screws vertically in posts and the vertical 2x6. I then route a set of holes for the horizontal bookcased 2x6.

The bookcased 2x6s every 24" are kregged top and bottpm into wall girts and the posts. The vertical 2x6 is kregged into the bookcased 2x6.

Maybe on the lift but I also own an aerial safety cage 8-14 work height platform rolling ladder too.

The bottom stainless covered outlets are all 30 amp or larger 220v 1ph or 3ph circiits. No three next to each other are on the same circuit. There are 220v circuits above fpr tool drops as well.
