Ever try a Stanley #55?
The #45 when it uses the H & R cutters, does NOT use a fence....it has a special "bottom" that is fitted to the cutter.
Show me a picture, I'll build a project from that

Perhaps IF you look around a bit....Record also made the same cutters and bottoms.....and they do indeed fit the Stanley #45...
