Considering they don't make that particular machine anymore, that is a great deal.
...Naval Aviators, that had balz made of brass and the size of bowling balls, getting shot off the deck at night, in heavy seas, hoping that when they leave the deck that the ship is pointed towards the sky and not the water.

It's a great deal, but they do still make that model mortiser. The closed stand is also an available option.

Neither can I. I spoke with him today. He told me he gets calls, but they want him to pretty much give it away. He won't do that as a matter of principle.

Call them up and try to order one.

That machine was made in Taiwan.

The company was bought by the mainland Communist Chinese.

They discontinued several products made in Taiwan, and they don't know if they will ever make them again.

I tried to order one in December, and that's the story I was told.  I finally found one of the last ones at a supplier in Canada.

I contacted him and let him know I wanted to buy it but he replied that freight would be a deal killer.
