Best $30.00 bucks I ever spent on a used power tool

I found this Skil 449 3" Belt Sander on eBay so I rolled the dice on it.  And I have to say that I am very impressed with this.  I used it today and it takes material off in a hurry and leaves a great flat surface.  I am going to clean it up and change the chain grease and oil in it.

I think the reason I got it so cheap was a little chip out of the corner that DOES NOT affect the way this baby works.

I will smooth that area out when I take it apart and clean it all up.

Happy camper here!

Looks like something from a 50's sci fi movie

I picked up a porter cable locomotive for about $10.  The old ones just work

corrected because I read it wrong

That is a big old monster.  They were not very ergonomic, but it seemed they could take a beating and keep going and could fix pretty easy to.
As of this time I am not teaching vets to turn. Also please do not send any items to me without prior notification.  Thank You Everyone.

It is always the right time, to do the right thing.

I have one of the newer mini/palm Porter Cabke belt sanders that has a dust port. It comes in very handy.
