Was looking to purchase a Rigid Table Saw, it was $499 at one Home Depot a couple miles away, I checked the other Home Depot in the next town over and it was only $399 for the exact same saw. Of course I bought the one on sale, wonder why different prices at different stores?

The stores won't honor the website prices either. It's crazy. I have had to order online and pick up in store to get the web price several times

Other stores are the same way about the website prices. But for the different prices at stores, I've found that when Lowes marks something for clearance, it spreads across the stores in a very uneven pattern....and the prices are often different as they decline to clear out the inventory. e don't have an HD close by, so I've no idea how their stuff works.
I started with absolutely nothing. Now, thanks to years of hard work, careful planning, and perseverance, I find I still have most of it left.

I've never had a problem with the BestBuy store matching their website. They'll even match Amazon's website if the item is sold by Amazon.

My Uncle worked in the tool department of Home Depot for many years. I can't remember the actual numbers to the right of the decimal point but the cents are a code that indicates if something is on a store clearance versus a corporate clearance.
