Probably one of the best ideas I've seen. It can be moved around easily where you need it.
Are you going to fill the drawers with bits and accessories?

The top is 1 1/2" mdf+3/4" ply. Three sides of the space where the router is located are lined with 1/4" ply for dust collection. The door is 1/2" ply. the only area of steel cabinet that is exposed to router noise is the back where the DC connection is located. I think with all the ply enclosure that the router noise is muffled somewhat, not increased. Opening the door with it running increases the noise a bunch.

Do the casters have a lock on them to prevent rolling?
