Don't know anything about the mallet, but I like the choice in vitamin B.  

I don't have any fine chisels.  All of mine have the metal through the handle so I usually use my smallest ball peen.

Mallet got used tonight...

   
The yellow head seemed to want to just bounce off....the black one drove the chisel nicely, enough....neither affected the end of the chisel's handle...

   
Might try the yellow head for assembly work..
 

   
As it didn't mar the wood....
