Turn one and take the wide end to a belt sander and you can sand it down on both sides. I made one side rounded for rounded corners and the other straight for the sides of pans

Thank you. I didn't start on anything yet, had other things going in the shop. I have plenty of wood, and neighbor has a wood stove.
