replacement Ridgid vac hose

Do folks have a recommendation for replacement hose for a Ridgid shop vacuum cleaner?  The one I've struggled with for years is too short inflexible and stiff.  Thanks. -Howard

I have the same hose in the smaller diameter...works good for me.

That's the one I was going to recommend. Works great.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.

I concur.  It's a far better hose than the standard issue hose.

I put a 20' Cen-Tec branded hose on my Ridgid shop vac.

Now the shop vac stays in the corner because I can reach all over the shop.  I wonder why I didn't do this sooner...

Just wondering how you tame 20' of hose? I built a mobile base for mine with a Oneida dust deputy on top. I never have to empty the vacuum.

I jut coil it on top of the shop vac.  I'd rather do that than wheel the vac all around the shop.  It's a "name your poison" kind of thing...

I hung two of these hooks, https://www.menards.com/main/storage-org...710000.htm , side by side on the wall and wrap the hose around them.
