FS: 10" Forrest Dado King -- 5/8" Arbor
#4
Used Forrest 10" Dado King with a 5/8" arbor. Doesn't look like it has seen much use. One of the outside blades suffered some surface corrosion from improper storage and one of the chippers has a broken carbide tooth (my guess is also from poor storage by a previous owner). Message with any questions.

Asking $175 plus actual shipping from 48444. PayPal only, please.

Make me an offer -- no use for this set in my shop, so I'd love to see it go to a new home.

I wish they were larger, I don't have a dado set...I hate to say I normally use a hand plane or chisels if I need something like that.

10" won't even reach my table with the blade raise all the way, and I have a 1-1/8" arbor.
Undecided

I used to use Forrest blades on my first table saw I had, sold them with the saw...never was fortunate to have a dado set.

BTW, that broken tooth could be ground so that it doesn't interfere with the other teeth as it spins, so one less tooth will not hurt anything, but Forrest could probably repair it if it bothers someone. Their blades are not cheap, so that makes sense for many people that buy their blades.

Good luck, I wish this set for at least 14", even then I'd only get about 2-1/2" of cut depth...

Geometry was the most critical/useful mathematics class I had, and it didn't even teach me mathematics.
