...is how long it took to receive an order for a woodworking related tool to restore a Wallace 8" jointer that I've been itching to use. Evidently the time was due to supply chain issues, and I don't blame the company, whom I respect and therefore am not naming. But good grief, that's a long time!

If you can wait that long for something to restore the machine, it is a useless machine to start with. :-) :-)

I know you jest, but 1) I'm slow on projects anyway and it's been a busy year, and 2) I haven't been able to get rid of the 6" jointer that it's supposed to replace, thus chewing up floor space. I'm excited to get it running!

I never heard of a Wallace, but looked it up on OWWM and it is a very interesting design. Let us see the final product.
