WTB - Varitas Power Tenon cutter
#6
Hello-I’m looking for 1” and 5/8” power tenon cutter, please contact me if you have both or one for sale. I have been trying to make these tenons the hard way and and done with that! Don’t have a lathe yet, so this seem like the next best option.
Thank you.

If you have a router table, it's a pretty straight forward process to cut round tenons on the end of a square or round piece.

Thanks-had never occurred to me to try that. I appreciate that suggestion as I am still green when it comes to woodworking!

JMH: Good luck on your WTB. I hear that they are really good tools. I will skip the joke about so many woodworkers prefer green (wood) for chair making.

John: Would you consider posting a HowTo up in Power Tools? I am having trouble envisioning how one uses a router table to put a round tenon on a square blank.
