Dear Woodnetter,
a new first saw: A fret saw based on the gents saw and a bought depth stop:
Sawing on the pull stroke (customer wish)
The greek luthier had a special need for this saw, becaus he uses frets with a thin line. The usual fret saw leaves 0.56mm cerve. this on leaves a 0,45 thick cerve.
Cheers

It's perfect !!!
When I cut guitar fret slots this year, I was so relieved to use a thin pull-saw rather than a power tool.

That's a beautiful saw, Pedder! I particularly like the bead on the handle--a nice touch (pun intended).

Oh, you mean that kind of fret saw (as a guitar player I should have guessed at this one first).
Outstanding, as always.

Thank you all!
From time to time it is a nice idea to make a saw wich will be really used.
