#7
I don't remember when I first learned about French Cleats, but I am finally ditching the pegboard and very happy with the results!

I was going to build a cabinet to hang my tools but this way is much better.  Make sure you do pictures as you make them

I always liked the idea of tool holders on the wall. My problem is, I have too many tools. I admire those that can organize their shop like this.

Paul, let us know how you like the French cleat system. I really like the layout and holders.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.

Wondering how a cleat table would work?

I have french cleats on a couple of walls.  I like the flexibility.  When I need a new hanging device, I just wing it.  Consequently, my tool holders and fixtures in the system are an ugly jumble.  OCD organizers should probably not visit my shop.

My shop is still a mess.
