Have model 28-255 and cannot figure out how to remove lower thrust bearing. Have removed screw on rod holding shaft that holds bearing but not enough room to slide shaft all the way forward. Any tips? Thanks...Bill

Do you have a 3 jaw puller?Should pull off fairly easy.

It's not stuck on shaft. The problem is lack of room to remove shaft n bearing.

Take the whole assembly apart. Good time to clean it. 2 large screws hold it to the table bracket.

Got it done. Found best to remove table which gave much better access.
