Child Safe Saw
#6
Credit for this idea to Izzy Swan - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Vf-MoCas1M

I made one for our granddaughter - age 5 ½. I demo'd it at a MakerSpace where kids from 4 to 70 were checking it out.

A fun and hopefully useful gift.

Anyone else put one of these together ?

Bill

My Dad did, back in the 1960's.  We had an old RCA cabinet (tube) radio that died.  He gutted the radio (saving the tubes for other radios), and mounted a sabre's saw in it.  Perhaps not as safe as Izzy's version, but that is how my brother and I stared.  My brother became a contractor and I do woodworking as a hobby.
I tried not believing.  That did not work, so now I just believe

Cool that this Dad thought of his kids, but he sure went to a lot of trouble to make a set of these
