Somewhere, in this pile of pine parts...

Is a Saw Til......
Used a Mitre Saw to make the crosscuts..

Ah, must be the Cordless version.....

Sides were a glue up..

Because I wanted to get rid of some leftovers from the Table build.   Made one glue up, and cut two sides out at an angle.
Glue joints needed a little work..

Need to start some joinery this week, I guess.   Had a lot of saws needing a place to hang out in...

Chopped  a bit..

Then the flip side work.  top piece for the two sides was also done.

No A/C in the shop, I am soaked, and tired out,  time to take a break....

More dovetails..

Doing pins first.  Then set things up to trace around the pins..

Chopped the tails, dry fit the sides, top and bottom..

To see how things will fit.

Spread a bit of glue  around today...

And shaped the handle rest with a spokeshave, a Millers Falls  No. 56B plane and some sandpaper..

Nice and round to hold the handles in place.   later this evening, I might try to add a back to the til.....we'll see....

Ok, when you walk down the steps to the Dungeon Shop, this is what you will see..

Then, the view from the bench area..

A place to hold the "horns" of the saw's handles..

Still needs a finish on the wood works....maybe later?

Smaller saws hang from pegs in the side of the til.....

I guess this will just have to do, for now....
Cool

got some rough measurements? or did you just build it to fit the length of the saws?

Used what scraps I had, and used a saw to help lay things out.

IF you want, I can get some measurements later tonight, and post them here...
