I spent a little time looking around this morning ...
I imagine you have run across the same things I've been finding ...

In case not ... here is a place (I've not used them personally) that has flush mount hinges similar in style:

However, I have not yet been able to find any hinges that are asymmetrical as your example; excepting Art Deco style.
Even the ones listed above appear to have a slightly larger hinge (1 3/4") than you're looking for.

Hey, those look to be exactly what I need.  Too bad they only have 3; I need 4.  But I might be able to get by with two; they guy I'm making it for said he might be able to get two.
