Isn't that a bit wide for a 14" saw?

I put the 3/4 Timberwolf on my G0555. It cut ok but I had to really crank the spring to get it tensioned.

For a Grizzly cast iron saw? Sure seems like it. For something like a 14" Laguna LT14 SUV? Maybe not.

Yes I thought it is a bit to wide for a 14" bandsaw but the manual says it will handle a 3/4" wide blade, guess you can't believe every you read.

Thanks guys for your input.

Never used anything wider than 1/2 on my 555 when I had it. Always used Timberwolf's, worked good and easy to tension.
