I do wish it had more pencil slots and the large straps are elastic (think suspenders) and not regular straps.

I have a Duluth apron, slightly different configuration. It has held up well.

I'm a total nerd, of course, but I really like these. I wear them day-to-day in the shop even when not in period dress. Inexpensive but not cheap. I have four that I rotate; two of them have a folding rule pocket sewed on.

Well Zach, it's been awhile since I read your book... but I don't remember anything about being in period dress.....

I have this apron. It works well and I'm pretty happy with it. It stays relatively clean as well.
