Yes hopefully never again. The blade pulled the sparks above the table so I could actually see them. Probably a good thing that it did. Better than down into the dust bin. Fortunatly i did not have the dust collector running. I did make sure to stay there for about an hour with the fire extiguisher ready. That would have made it an even more epic screwup.Could have ben very bad. Thank fully while really dumb it was an easy fix. Put a plug on both ends. Now if I ever have to pull the motor I won't have to unhook the wiring. I even had both plugs in my electricl parts bin. They were even rated for the 20 amps I needed.
