Making a Top for Router Table

I've made a couple of them and bought a crapsmen, I am still not satisfied.  What are you using for table top.  I'm thinking to take my old craftsmen table saw from 1975 to a machine shop.  Have them to cut the whole for the router base to fit and make a stand or mount it on my Jet table saw.  I know at least it will always be very flat.

I made mine out of 2 layers of 3/4" MDO, glued together. I did a dry glue up with clamps and cauls to make sure it was as flat as I could get. Came out wonderful.
I no longer build museums but don't want to change my name. My new job is a lot less stressful. Life is much better.
